Bangkok--1 Oct--Jigsaw Communication
Featuring highly-detailed and accurate replicas of 400 artefacts recovered from the Titanic’s wreckage and housed in galleries meticulously recreated to resemble various iconic sections of the ship, Titanic The Exhibition at The Venetian(R) Macao takes visitors of all ages through key milestones in the famed ship’s timeless story, from its conception and construction, to life on board the ship, the ill-fated sinking and the wreckage, and shares the incredible stories of its passengers and crew, coinciding with the 100th anniversary of the Titanic’s historic voyage in April 1912.
Titanic The Exhibition is an interactive experience, where visitors will receive a boarding pass corresponding with a passenger on the ship. The reconstruction of the iconic sections of the passenger liner to be showcased at The Venetian Macao include the First and Third Class Hallways, First Class Cabin, the 27-foot high Grand Staircase, the ships promenade deck and the Boiler Room. The exhibition is also composed of several galleries, such as Construction Gallery, Departure Gallery, Iceberg Gallery, Memorial Wall, Discovery Gallery as well as a retail store. Visitors can experience first-hand the freezing temperature when Titanic sank in the North Atlantic Ocean, by pressing their palms against an interactive ‘Iceberg Wall’ in the Iceberg Gallery.
