Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) recently received delivery of its first Airbus A380-800 aircraft, royally bestowed the name “Si Rattana,” at the Airbus Delivery Centre in Toulouse, France. THAI’s Airbus A380-800 was handed over to Flight Lieutenant Montree Jumrieng (third from right), THAI Executive Vice President of Technical Department, by Mr. Kiran Rao (third from left), Airbus Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. THAI’s first out of six A380 aircraft will operate flights to and from Bangkok-Hong Kong and Bangkok-Singapore beginning 6 October 2012.
