Mr. Owin Phongpan-ngarm, Senior Resource Development Geologist of Akara Mining Limited, welcomed a group of 70 visitors comprising lecturers and students from the Department of Geological Sciences, Chiang Mai University to Chatree Gold Mine in Phichit Province. Led by Dr. Weerapan Srichan, lecturer at the Department of Geological Sciences, the tour provided real-world education and enhanced knowledge of sustainable and environmental friendly mining practices for science students at Chiang Mai University.
