Land Rover, the world’s Number One maker of luxury all-terrain vehicles, hosted a week-long product display at Central Festival Phuket, entitled, “Land Rover Discovers the South.” The event aimed to connect the marque with loyal and new customers in the South West of Thailand, following great sales success with its two shows at the Emporium, Bangkok. Land Rover showed two Evoque models and a Range Rover Sport, the two most popular luxury SUV models in its range in Thailand.
The exhibition was also a chance for Land Rover to introduce its authorised dealer for the South of Thailand; GB Automobiles Co. Ltd. Managing Director, Parin Thongpussa, said, “Land Rover’s seven day exhibition in Phuket has enjoyed great enthusiasm from customers both existing and new. There were 10 reservations for test drives on the first day. On average, we saw around 50 customers per day who talked with us at length about the range of Land Rover cars. There is a great passion in Phuket for Land Rover products, and we are seeing a strong new interest from first-time buyers due to the popularity surrounding the Evoque. GB Automobiles is ready to serve the buying demand and after sales care requirements of customers in Phuket and the south west region of Thailand with excellent levels of sales care, servicing and repair.”
Land Rover’s exhibition at Emporium Shopping Complex saw eight orders placed for the Evoque at the display stand, which represented a terrific sales performance for the leading producer of luxury SUVs. The road show concept will now extend Land Rover’s reach beyond the capital as it visits other areas of Thailand where there is strong and growing demand for this exceptional range of all terrain vehicles.
