Bangkok--12 Oct--Krungthai-AXA Life
Mike Plaxton, Chief Executive Officer of Krungthai-AXA Life Public Company Limited announced today that the company had successfully completed the process of conversion from a private company into a Public Company Limited. Pursuant to the Life Insurance Act B.E. 2535 (1992), as amended by the Life Insurance Act (No. 2) B.E. 2551 (2008), all Life Insurance Companies are required to change their status from a private company into a Public Company Limited, by 1 February 2013. In the conversion process into a Public Company Limited, Krungthai-AXA Life did not get listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
The change of status will not have any impact on Krungthai-AXA Life customers. The products and services acquired by existing customers under the previous structure remain unchanged and Krungthai-AXA Life’s obligation to honor policy commitments is unchanged.
