Novotel Bangkok Fenix Silom gives weekend revellers new reason to head out for an indulgent night of fine food with the launch of its “Seafood Soiree” premium seafood buffet. Every Friday and Saturday night, The Square will remind some of a luxury cruise ship setting sail for good times and fantastic dining.
Priced at only THB 1,199++ per person, the Seafood Soiree buffet gets even better with The Square’s “Buy 1 Get 1” offer from 19 October to 20 December 2012. The buffet’s centrepiece seafood-on-ice presentation features New Zealand mussels, King crab, poached treats like river prawns and blue crabs and fresh oysters, all complemented with a variety of sauces and condiments including fresh herbs.
Western salads on the buffet include tuna Nicoise, salmon gravlax with caper and lime, penne seafood with lemon dill mayonnaise and seafood terrine. These prepare the palate for Western hot dishes such as mixed seafood and vegetables with white wine sauce, seafood ragout and seared mixed seafood with butter caper sauce. Not to be missed are Thai hot dish specialities like seafood fried rice Thai style and fried rice with roasted chilli paste and seafood. Thai salads likewise are served at a special salad station offering spicy calamari salad with Thai fresh herbs, spicy seafood salad with lemongrass and all-time favourite papaya salad with shrimp.
Along with live grill station featuring marinated salmon, seafood skewers, prawn tempura and other dishes with condiments, the buffet includes an Indian corner for seafood specialities like dory tandoori and fish makani, while a Japanese station serves sashimi, maki and sushi. Additional seafood specialities include mixed seafood pizza and soups such as lobster bisque and spicy Thai seafood soup in coconut milk.
After enjoying the buffet’s many fruits of the sea, guests can choose from desserts including ice cream, bread pudding, caramel custard, chocolate cake and Thai mini desserts.
