Celebrity chef Ken Hom visits familiar surroundings — his very own restaurant in Bangkok at Bandara Suites Silom — for a special dinner.
Maison Chin Modern Asian Cuisine presents “An Evening with Ken Hom Dinner”, giving guests a chance to personally meet the famed chef and BBC cookery show presenter. The one-time event on 25 October will feature a menu specially created by Ken just for the evening.
Ken Hom’s only restaurant in Asia, Maison Chin has for a full decade brought to Bangkok the chef’s distinctive approach to Chinese food as well as other Asian cuisines.
Helping ensure all dishes are prepared to perfection will be Chef Pop, a Thai native who’s been Ken Hom’s assistant for 10 years and who now oversees operations at Maison Chin.
Chinese-American Ken Hom is widely regarded as one the world’s top-most authorities on Asian cookery; indeed he’s the author of 20 highly regarded books on the subject. Along with having cooked for many heads of state, he can count among his numerous awards an honorary OBE for his service to the culinary arts. His BBC-produced television programmes have been enjoyed by viewers around the world.
The chef is currently travelling the globe to share his expertise. Those travels now bring him back to Bangkok and Maison Chin, where this special dinner will exemplify Ken Hom’s well-deserved acclaim.
