Thailand’s Hotel Industry Has Recovered from Last Year’s Floods TripAdvisor Study Shows Thailand’s Average Review Ratings are Higher than the Global Average

Bangkok--24 Oct--GHC Asia Thailand’s hotels and B&Bs have recovered from the floods that inundated the nation last year, according to a study1 revealed by TripAdvisor?, the world’s largest travel site. The study, which looked at review ratings collected by TripAdvisor from travellers around the world, showed that the average review rating of Thailand’s hotels and B&Bs is as high as ever at 4.12 out of a possible 5, just above the global average of 4.01. Accommodations in Thailand also topped the Cleanliness category with a rating of 4.24, beating other Asia-Pacific markets such as Australia (4.16), Indonesia (4.22), Malaysia (3.95) and India (4.09). Thailand’s B&Bs keeping pace with hotels TripAdvisor also examined the difference in ratings between Thailand’s hotels versus B&Bs.
