Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside Bangkok continues to join millions around the globe to celebrate Oktoberfest — the world’s largest annual beer festival at the hotel’s Chainam Open Space, overlooking the stunning Chao Phraya River.
The Oktoberfest tradition started more than 200 years ago, in 1810 to celebrate the marriage of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig to Princess Therese; a festivity that catered to all Bavarians and was held over five days. Anniversary celebrations were held annually, and with each year, they grew larger and more elaborate adding fun-filled games and events which has now resulted in this spectacular festival spreading quickly around the world.
To ensure that our guests experience Oktoberfest to the fullest, Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside will organize the “Bavarian Beerfest” from 9th — 18th November 2012 where patrons can expect more than just good company, hearty music, wholesome German-inspired food and of course, a plentiful supply of beer! The party starts from 18.00 hours — 23.00 hours throughout this promotion.
Over two (2) weekends of 9th — 11th November and 16th& 17th November 2012, a German traditional band “Bayrische 3” will entertain with popular folk music and polkas that make up the ‘oompah’ music Germany is widely famous for. The 3-piece “Bayrische 3” will also ring out some international hits, so be prepared to sing or dance along to the tunes! Guests can also look forward to participating in some of the annual celebration's fun games such as 'Nail Hammering', 'Wood Sawing' and the all-favourite'Beer Drinking competition' !
Our “Bavarian Beerfest” is not complete without large quantities of traditional Bavarian hearty fare, and with this in mind our chefs have orchestrated a delighted 'live station' buffet spread consisting amongst other succulent offers, a variety of mouth-watering sausages and condiments, selection of salads, pretzels and desserts for only *THB 900++ per person (over the weekends) and *THB 600++ per person (during weekdays). *Terms & conditions apply.
