Bangkok--2 Nov--The Sukhothai Bangkok One of the UK’s most distinguished culinary masters, Andrew Fairlie, will be chef in residence during 21-24 November 2012, providing diners with a privileged chance to sample his exquisite menu in a luxurious and unique location. Renowned for his delicate interpretations of the most opulent of French and Scottish cuisines, Andrew will present a selection of his Michelin star masterpieces from his own handcrafted restaurant menu, usually discovered only at the world famous Gleneagles Hotel and Resort. Along with his signature dishes, other well loved specialities from Andrew will also be recreated over this glorious four day period in November. French culinary influences in his work are reflections of his win of the first Roux Scholarship in 1984 and training in the southwest of France with legendary chef Michel Guerard at Les Presd’Eugenie. ‘Restaurant Andrew Fairlie’ is one of eleven restaurants in the UK to be awarded two Michelin stars, alongside being voted as one of the world’s top ten ‘Greatest Hotel Restaurants’ by US Hotel magazine.
