ID card shown as medical card to obtain medical treatment at over 250 hospitals nationwide
KSK Insurance (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. unveils an innovative personal accident policy under the name “Khun Oonjai”. The insurers only show their ID card to be as the medical cards to receive the medical treatment at over 250 hospitals nationwide. There are 10 PA plans for customer selection with the minimum premium at only 550 baht per year.
Mr. Piyapadh Vana-ukrit, Vice President — Head of Underwriting, KSK Insurance (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. said “Khun Oonjai Insuers will receive most convenience from using their ID cards as medical card to obtain the medical treatment at the 250 contract leading hospitals nationwide e.g. Samitivej hospital, Bamrunrad hospital and Phayathai hospital. The information of insurers will be linked by online system to those hospitals. So, the insurers will get the protection and can get medical treatment once they completely applied for Khun Oonjai PA with KSK Insurance”
Khun Oonjai is the annual policy provides compensation in the event of injuries, disability or death caused solely by violent, accidental, external and visible events. Khun Oonjai provides 24-hour worldwide insurance protection. The beginning premium is at only 550 baht per year up to 3,100 baht per year. The loss of income during staying in the hospital will be compensated up to 1,000 baht per day. “As the vulnerability of customers needs, we are offering 10 Khun Oonjai PA plans. The first plan which we call “Khun Oonjai 1” has 550 baht premium and cover 100,000 baht for death from accident. For those who would like the maximum cover, we have Khun Oonjai 10 which charge only 3,100 baht per year with 2 million baht protection.” Mr. Piyapadh added.
