HSBC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Rachakorn Chayapirad as Head of Payments and Cash Management in Thailand with effect from 1 November 2012. He succeeds Nigel Raymont, who will transfer to Hong Kong to take up a regional role with HSBC.
Rachakorn will be responsible for continuing to grow HSBC’s Cash Management business in Thailand and strengthening HSBC’s position as a leading provider of cash management solutions in Thailand.
After joining HSBC in 2002, Rachakorn has held a number of important roles at the bank. He has served as head of the Product Management team within the Payments and Cash Management department managing critical cash management services including payment channels, payment products, and receivable products. Most recently, he served as head of the sales team, responsible for promoting integrated payment/cash management solutions tailored specifically to meet requirements of multinational and institutional clients.
Rachakorn graduated with a Master’s degree in Management of Information Systems from the London School of Economics and received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California in the United States.
