Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok invites guests to indulge in the romantic and colourful scene on the night of Loy Krathong with a grand fireworks display under the “Thailand Spectrum of Colours” theme on the full moon night on Wednesday, 28 November 2012.
Guests can choose to enjoy an ancient Thai traditional celebration and float their floral krathongs into the river in honour of the River Goddess in the warm ambience of the following venues:
Poolside
Guests can celebrate with a Thai buffet amid lush riverside tropical gardens and entertainment programmes. The entertainment includes performances from Miss Nabhada Sukhakrit, Thai classical and folk dances (drum show, northern dance show, Khon performances: The Ramayana and The Battle Scenes, a Muay Thai show, a North Eastern dance show, a Thai traditional instrument show), a Krathong contest and the Miss Noppamas pageant. Angelini
The restaurant offers an Italian set dinner and ? la carte dishes created by Chef Ugoletti. Guests can enjoy their Loy Krathong meal in the air-conditioned area and listen to live entertainment from Lilibeth Antonio or dine al fresco on Angelini’s terrace. Horizon Cruise
Guests can experience the majestic River of Kings on the full moon night of the Festival of Lights with an international buffet accompanied by entertainment from a duo band. (adult 4,800 baht per person/child 2,400 baht per person)

Chef Tussanee Putkaew prepares a special Thai set dinner for diners to enjoy in the teak pavilions while watching traditional Thai performances and fireworks by the river. (adult 3,200 baht per person/child 1,600 baht per person)
