Bangkok--29 Nov--Krungthai Card KTC celebrates the 9th anniversary of “Learn & Earn @ KTC”.Scholarships offered to winners of the contest including a Singapore tour packageworth a total of 210,000 Baht. More budget will be allocated for next yearto produce more of this competent human resources for Thailand. KTC celebrates the 9th anniversary of Learn & Earn @ KTC with “Character Brand Building” contest with prizes being scholarships and Singapore tour package worth a total of 210,000 Baht. The firm is proud of their role in the preparation of part-time student employees for the Thai business community. Intensive courses are being designed for the next year to further enhance the capability of the students, offer them more professional experience, instill positive attitude and promote moral correctness with the aim to produce more sound and capable workforce for the society. Over 2,000 students from around the country have spent their free time working with KTC. Mr. Rathian Srimongkol, President & Chief Executive Officer, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, said “KTC has been consistently working on activities for the country’s youths and education system. We have supported various agencies and educational institutions in their initiation of own projects, as well as given the opportunity for students to work with us on a part-time basis on the Learn & Earn @ KTC program which has been in motion for nine years now. More than 2,000 students have participated in the program. Of this number, nearly 300 were inducted as KTC employees while the rest found their way to many other leading organizations.” “On this occasion of the 9th anniversary, we are having a contest to determine the individuals deserving of our Top Performance Awards. We will present a certificate to those who have completed the 300 hours work program with us also as a gesture of gratitude and a symbol of recognition for their hard work. Students with a GPA of 3.0 and above and an outstanding work record with us are given the chance to participate in our ‘Character Brand Building with KTC’ with the prizes being scholarship and Singapore tour package worth a total of 210,000 Baht. Nine students made it through the screening process from the original 182applicants. They were grouped into three teams of three and the winners are Ms.Wathunya Kamnak from Thammasat University, Ms.Nichcha Yongkitcharoen and Mr.Weerayut Akkarasaringkan from Srinakharinwirot University . The other six students have won a scholarship of 10,000 Baht each.” “We sincerely hope that winners of the Top Performance Awards will use what they learn and experience from us here to their benefit in their future career.” “It is our policy to encourage program students to best manage the income they receive from their work and plan their expenses well. To this end, workshops are being conducted to enhance their financial discipline early on.
