Martin Raich, General Manager presided over a ceremony organized at Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa to pay homage to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and light candles on the occasion of his 85th birthday anniversary.
On this auspicious occasion, management, associates and guests of Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa gathered at Sundara Lounge Terrace and joined thousand of Thais to demonstrate their loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty the King, the world's longest-reigning monarch, with candle light ceremony simultaneously with the rest of the nation. The ceremony held on December 5, 2012.
December 5 each year is regarded as a very significant day in Thailand, as it marks His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s birthday. Since he is recognized as the “Father of the Thai Nation,” his birthday, December 5, is also observed as Thailand’s National Father’s Day.
