This date is supposed to be the last day in the Mayan calendar actually ending one cycle of 5125.26 years and thus, beginning a new one. For others it represents a turning point into “A time in which Earth and its inhabitants may undergo a positive physical or spiritual transformation.” Astronomers have actually observed we will be in a galactic alignment and more precisely in a “cosmic coordinate” — a very unique place in time and space. Well isn’t what this book is all about? Positively life changing experiences? How serendipitous that this day is also a Friday night, at the height of the good season (it is after all, the winter solstice) and fairly distant from the obligations of Christmas and New Year celebrations (pure freedom so to speak)? Our creative team is working on a “Back to Gold” theme for this End of World event. Our residents DJs Eddy Frampton and Fred Jungo are getting impatient to create the soundtrack of that galactic alignment in Bed Supperclub. A cosmic night indeed.
