The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), together with asset management firms, will hold the "Last-Minute Tax Saving via LTFs-RMFs" investment fair on December 20-23 to offer tax-incentive funds, which are long-term equity funds (LTFs) and retirement mutual funds (RMFs), and other mutual funds as well as investment advice service to investors.
The event will be held at Central World Shopping Center, Bangkok, and offer 1,300 mutual funds, including 150 LTFs and RMFs, from 18 asset management firms. They will also offer investment advice, tax calculation service, and fund analysis.
"The number of fund unit holders keeps increasing by rising to 3.3 million accounts so far this year, up 13.8 percent from 2.9 million last year, thanks partly to our continued campaigns via a project called
‘Let Your Money Work Through Mutual Funds’ that provides insights to investors and depositors so that they can fully exploit the benefits of the mutual funds, which give not only tax privileges, but also diversification and boosting of returns," SET Chief Marketing Officer Pakorn Peetathawatchai said. “Let Your Money Work Through Mutual Funds” has been held for ten consecutive years, aiming to share insights and promote investment via funds for depositors and investors by using media channels, seminars and other training, and other activities, both in Bangkok and provincial areas, as well as other PR channels.
