The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) by Mr. Chanitr Charnchainarong, Executive Vice President - Issuer & Listing Division, congratulated Mr. Win Viriyaprapaikit, Group CEO and President of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI), on the occasion that SSI stock has been selected as 1 of the 6 newcomers in the SET100 index in the first 6 months of 2013 at SSI Bangkok office, on 21 December 2012.
The SET100 Index, one of the main benchmark of investment in the SET, is calculated from the stock prices of the top 100 listed companies on SET in terms of large market capitalization, high liquidity and compliance with requirements regarding the distribution of shares to minor shareholders.
Group CEO and President of SSI said: "Our entry in the SET100 Index shows the interest and confidence of investors in SSI stock. As a result, this will encourage the stock price to reflect its true value.”
