The Popular Vote Contest associated with the 3rd Annual U-Guy Male Model Search is now open for public participation until January 15, 2013. Cast your ballot for your favorite male model from the 12 finalists chosen by this year’s panel of judges. The score from the Popular Vote will count as 10% of each contestant’s total score; participating voters will also have a chance of winning great prizes from Guy Guy Laroche.
Developed two years ago, Guy Laroche, the internationally renowned men’s apparel line from France, is turning the pilot project into an annual event. U-Guy Male Model Search Contest is designed to find the ideal male model to act as the brand spokesman for Guy Guy Laroche, a trendy fashion label for young executives under Guy Laroche trademark. The event will also help to introduce this stylish brand to a younger generation of customers, including university students, who are about to graduate and enter the work force.
The selection process for the current contest began at the regional level in October. Five separate contests were held in major cities throughout Thailand, leading to the selection of the best representatives from across the country for the final round of the competition which is scheduled to be held in Bangkok in January, 2013 at the Robinson Department Store (Phra Ram 9 Branch — MRT: Phra Ram 9). The winner will receive a cash award and other fabulous prizes from Guy Guy Laroche and this year’s sponsors, including an opportunity to be featured in a fashion spread in major fashion magazines.
To promote the general public’s participation and increase awareness of this unique competition, the Popular Vote campaign is being introduced through one of the event’s sponsors, www.metro-society.com. Voters will not only have fun voting for their ideal model, but they stand a chance of winning wonderful prizes, including a gift voucher valued at Bht. 2,000.00 from Guy Guy Laroche.
The voting procedures are easy and fast. Simply visit the metro-society’s website, register to become a member, and vote. Each voter is asked to rate each model on a scale of 0 to 10. Anyone can vote for his/her favorite model as many times as he/she likes, but no more than twice in any given day. The winner in the Popular Vote category will be revealed during the final round. He will receive a cash award and other prizes valued at Bht. 20,000.00. If you don’t want your favorite model to be left out in the cold, vote today through January 15, 2013!
