Bangkok--29 Jan--The Okura Prestige Bangkok The curtain rises on Act 3 of the ultimate dining experience in Bangkok as Elements, home of ‘modern logical cuisine’, launches its new menu on 1st February. Act 3, created by Okura Prestige Bangkok Chef De Cuisine Cyril Cocconi, sees the introduction of new ‘characters’ in a menu that tempts lovers of fine dining to indulge in all four main elements (earth, air, fire and water). Elements has gained a deserved reputation for creative cuisine that is based not only upon pure flavours but also emphasises dynamic textures, delightful aromas and, importantly, temperatures that are best suited to each item. The new menu features new ? la carte choices such as john dory with marinated razor clam; dive scallops carpaccio with quail egg; black cod glazed teriyaki and, from the cattle rearing plains of Australia, Jack’s Creek grain-fed (240 days) black angus tenderloin in alder smoke. Some favourites from Acts 1 and 2 have been retained, including the popular ‘Illustration of duck Burgaud des Challans’ (slow cooked breast from ducks bred famously in the Vend?e department of the Pays-de-la-Loire in France). Act 3 also features guest appearances in the form of three very exciting and different set menu compositions. Diners may choose Inspirations (three courses for 2,100 Baht); Moments (five courses for 2,800 Baht), and Micro Experience (eight courses for 3,500 Baht with the option of wines selected by the Elements Sommelier).
