Swissotel Le Concorde Bangkok hosted a Japanese fantasy-themed party to mark the grand opening of the trendy Takumi. H.E. Mr. Shigekazu Sato, Ambassador of Japan in Thailand, Mrs. Vipavan Mahadumrongkul, Managing Director, Le Concorde Hotel Co. Ltd, Khun Krisada Mahadumrongkul, Executive Director were amongst the many VIPs present to celebrate this milestone and experience Takumi’s exciting new menu.
Mr. Marcel Sawyere, General Manager of Swiss?tel Le Concorde Bangkok said “Takumi at Swiss?tel Le Concorde Bangkok is well-known to be one of Bangkok’s top Japanese restaurants and we take great pleasure and honour in announcing the expansion of Takumi.”
Mr. Marcel Sawyere continued, “The renovation of Takumi is part of Swiss?tel Le Concorde Bangkok’s THB 350 million refurbishment and expansion initiative which began last year. This grand opening party marks the first of many highlights of 2013 and a great way to start the year. We are very excited about this development and look forward to a year filled with new breakthroughs.”
The grand opening party kicked-off gracefully with a spectacular opening dance performance. Bangkok’s well known socialites, celebrities and press were also seen being engaged with the fun game booths and winning exciting prizes. The night progressed with talented young opera singers who performed songs such as Behold the Lord High Executioner, As Some Day It May Happen and more.
The icing to the cake at the end of the night was the grand prize of the lucky draw - a Hamilton watch worth THB 35,000. Other prizes included a two-night stay at the Swiss?tel Merchant Court Singapore, two-night stay in Hong Kong and vouchers for the hotel’s F&B outlets.
Takumi’s Fantasy Party was a great honour for the management of Swissotel Le Concorde as the guests enjoyed a fun-filled yet warm and cosy evening at the restaurant.
