Bangkok--13 Feb--Bromsgrove International School Thailand
The 7th International Schools Junior Golf Championship took place on the greens of The President Golf Course last Sunday. A field of 73 junior golfers from 12 International Schools in Thailand competed for the prestigious title hosted by Bromsgrove International School Thailand.
The event has expanded over the years attracting the very best junior golfers from the schools. This year was no exception with some quite outstanding performances from the students many of whom have already achieved success on the world stage.
The best male score of the day came from 2 students in Class A, Tap from Bromsgrove and Kwanchai from St John Mary, who both scored 4 under par 68s. These boys played from the back tees on a course of 6,500 yards.
The best female golf on the day was from Meaw, a Class B female golfer from Ascot who went out in 33, back in 32 for a 7 under par 65!
We were thrilled to have on board a number of sponsors to help with the event and thank them all. King Power have also very generously given us a package that will help all of our golfers and in particular our team of 4 who will represent Bromsgrove at The World Schools Golf Challenge in Hua Hin from March 31 to April 5
