VIE Hotel Bangkok, a Member of the MGallery Collection, has officially opened its latest trendy Japanese restaurant YTSB (the official abbreviation for Yellow Tail Sushi Bar) with a Yellow Tail fish logo and introduces the Japanese Master Chef Yoji Kitayama who promises that his new home in Bangkok will serve “Freshness In Style” to satisfy his customers.
YTSB is located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the VIE 39 building in front of the VIE Hotel Bangkok with a choice of indoor seating, for 50, or refreshing seating in the open air terrace. This new cutting edge Japanese venue proudly serves the freshest sushi and sashimi, in larger portions, including an array of authentic Japanese specialties.
“My fish are imported 3 times a week. They don’t come dead as that is never fresh to me. We pay a higher price to get experts to handle this for us. Ingredients are also imported and my kitchen welcomes only premium produce.” says Chef Yoji.
YTSB honours the traditions of Japanese culinary art by upholding the principles of high quality and the freshest fish for exacting sushi standards, complemented by a wide range of top sakes, including some rarely found brands. The interior is tastefully chic, peppered with Japanese elements given a contemporary twist with an inviting atmosphere.
On the same night, the renovated VIE Bar was introduced to complement YTSB. VIE Bar is located on the 2nd floor under the same roof with YTSB, expressing the stylish DnD (Dine & Drink) trend.
VIE Bar, as 'haute couture', features as Bangkok’s fashion—forward bar and a hangout where supermodels, celebrities and the fashion—industry elite are always welcome. With chill out tunes setting the vibe from 7 pm till 9:30 pm and profiled DJs spinning nightly from 10 pm — 1 am, VIE Bar aims to be one of the most popular music clubs among hip socialites.
The tailor—made large designer leather couches with luxurious tinting, fur chairs, glass dance-tables, mannequin lamps, adding a touch of kitsch, and giant fashion image wall light panels make VIE Bar unlike any other venue.
VIE signature cocktails are to die for and guests can enjoy their pick of the entire menu from YTSB, enjoying gourmet sushi and sashimi by Japanese master chef Yoji Kitayama and his team in style.
YTSB is open daily for at 18:00 — 22:30 hrs. (soon to be opened in lunch)
