Siam Square and 20 International and Thai artists launch “SILP SAN SIAM” to open Thailand’s Largest Urban Street Art Museum

Bangkok--27 Feb--Market-Comms Siam Square, which is the first open mall situated in the heart of Bangkok and has been a meeting point for shopping, eating and chilling out among youth for all periods, will become 50 years old in 2014, under the supervision of the Chulalongkorn University Property Management Office. For its upcoming 50th year anniversary, planning has created project “SILP SAN SIAM” and launched Thailand’s Largest Urban Street Art Museum at Siam Square. In this event, 29 pieces of art by local and international leading artists are placed across Siam Square. The individual pieces of work reflect the artists’ views on Siam Square in the future under the concept “The Alternative Future of Siam Square.” This will transform Siam Square into an art landmark in the heart of Bangkok and Thailand’s Largest Urban Street Art Museum. Thailand’s Largest Urban Street Art Museum in the SILP SAN SIAM event open for the public from today to 31 March 2013 for free.
