InterContinental Hua Hin Resort recently added another illustrious visitor to the resort's number of prestigious guests this weekend, hosting the beautiful Miss World 2012 Yu Wenxia during her first ever visit to Thailand.
Miss Wenxia made the most of her brief trip to Hua Hin, enjoying a visit to the town's renowned architectural works including the Rama VI Summer Palace and 'Thailand's most beautiful train station', as well as learning to make an authentic Thai Look Chub dessert during a private cookery course at the five-star royal heritage resort.
"It's been lovely visiting Hua Hin and learning about Thailand's proud heritage and captivating design works which are present throughout the town and the InterContinental. The resort's staff have all been really charming and I have loved having a constant view of Hua Hin's beautiful coastline," said Miss Wenxia.
Miss Wenxia has enjoyed a whistle-stop tour around the Kingdom, visiting Hua Hin, Bangkok and Chiang Mai where she was particularly enchanted with her encounter with one of Thailand's enduring tourist icons, the elephants.
"It has been an absolute delight having Miss Wenxia visit us here at the InterContinental, not only is she a beautiful and caring person, but every trip she makes helps raise awareness of the fantastic grassroots charity Beauty With a Purpose, which is controlled by the Miss World Organisation.
InterContinental Hua Hin Resort is the city's premier resort, with many other high-profile guests staying in the regally-inspired, authentic Thai surroundings, including Victoria Azarenka and Serena Williams who took part in the resort's fashion parade in December 2012.
