Bangkok--12 Mar--Thai Airways Berlin, Germany — Her Royal Highness Princess Ubolratana (front row, centre) recentlyvisited Thai Airways International’s booth at ITB’s Asia Pavilion where Her RoyalHighness was welcomed by Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan (front row, fourth from left), THAIPresident, Mr. Danuj Bunnag (front row, second from left), THAI Executive VicePresident of Commercial and Mrs. Sunathee Isvarphornchai (front row, first from left),THAI Vice President of E-Customer Relations, Mr. Nond Kalinta (front row, fifth fromleft), THAI Director of Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and Middle East, together with THAImanagement from Frankfurt and Munich offices. HRH Princess Ubolratana graciously experienced THAI’s new Royal First Class seats, ondisplay at the booth and installed in the A380 aircraft. Reflecting the importance ofThainess, as the national carrier of Thailand, the theme of THAI’s booth at ITB this year is“The Smoothest Way to Fly Non-Stop to Bangkok, the Heart of Asia.” The presentationarea for the new seats enables visitors to get to know and feel a new level of in-flightcomfort of THAI’s products. At this year’s ITB Berlin Convention from March 6 to 10, THAI proudly showcases itsnew Royal First Class seat that is offered to passengers on board the Airbus A380. THAIhas ordered six of the world’s biggest civil aviation aircraft with the first delivery inSeptember 2012. In December 2012, THAI launched its A380 flights on the route betweenBangkok and Frankfurt, further increasing its passenger capacity on this route that isoperated double-daily nonstop. In THAI?s A380 configuration, the new flagship aircraft ishost to 507 passengers in three classes of service. Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan, THAI President, attending ITB at Berlin for the first time, said,"Germany is one of our key markets. Following the introduction of the A380 on the routeBangkok-Frankfurt in 2012, we are already facing the next major event. In November, wecelebrate the fortieth anniversary of THAI flights to Frankfurt.”
