Robert Maurer-Loeffler, General Manager of Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, has announced the appointment of Kanchana Ruangsiriwichayakul as Front Office Manager.
Kanchana is a Thai national and has 12 years of hospitality industry experience in leading hotels with particular expertise in front office management. She is able to communicate fluently in Thai, English and Mandarin Chinese.
Kanchana started her career in the front office division of The Grand Hotel Bangkok in 2000, then transferred to The Emerald Hotel in 2001. Subsequently she moved to Novotel Centara Sukhonta, Hat Yai in 2002 with the same position before being promoted to Assistant Manager. In 2006 Kanchana moved to Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok (which now is Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok) as Assistant Manager before being promoted to Assistant Front Office Manager and then Front Office Manager. She worked there until 2010 and then transferred to SilQ Bangkok Hotel as Hotel Manager prior to rejoining the Centara Hotels & Resorts family as Front Office Manager at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld.
