A consorted effort to create a worldwide marketing platform for Thai companies has been created through the possibility of a Thai racer with Thai sponsors reaching the world’s ultimate motorsport pinnacle of Formula 1. Although some Thai companies like Singha and Red Bull already successfully have embraced the enormous opportunity of reaching a worldwide TV and media audience through participation in Formula 1, this opportunity represents for the first time a chance for Thai companies in general to join a consorted and planned effort to present their logo and brands globally.
A Thai born and raised formula champion, Sandy Stuvik, 17, is now emerging at the highest levels of European Formula racing and is planning to be the first Thailand national since Prince Bira sixty years ago to reach Grand Prix racing. A proven race winner and already a formula champion at the age of 15, the Thai driver is this year making an impact in European Formula 3 Open series and aiming to race in the Formula 1 feeder series GP2 in 2014. This invitation represents a genuine opportunity to join a team of dedicated Thai companies that take the idea of worldwide TV and media marketing very serious.
Following the Malaysian Formula 1 and GP2 race in Malaysia a presentation of this worldwide marketing opportunity will be presented at Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok to highlight this opportunity to interested Thai companies. Singha Corporation, The Pizza Company and Dacon will together with the Spanish GP2 team of Racing Engineering, with team owner Alfonso de Orl?ans-Borb?n, be on hand to present the development plan for the Thai driver to develop through GP2 towards Formula 1.

About the GP2 series
The GP2 Series was launched as the official feeder category to Formula. It races in Italy, UK, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Monaco, Bahrain, Malaysia and Singapore. The circuit, organization, media and spectators is following the Formula 1 venues. Current F1 drivers who progressed to Formula 1 from GP2 include Nico Rosberg, Heikki Kovalainen, Lewis Hamilton and Timo Glock. GP2 races are normally aired globally following the Formula 1 race. The GP2 series has more than 148 million spectators, in 157 countries worldwide.
