Chocolate Fun at Shoppes this Spring
Spectacular displays, exclusive chocolate making demonstrations by Godiva and chocolate sampling to delight visitors of all ages
(Macao, March 21, 2013) — Cotai Strip Resorts is the ideal destination for tourists and locals alike to spend the upcoming Easter holiday with family and friends. Visitors to Shoppes at Four Seasons, Shoppes Grand Canal and Shoppes Cotai Central between March 21 and April 21, 2013 will be amazed by a spectacular collection of Easter artwork of up to five metres high, themed on chocolate fun. Enjoy our Chocolate Bunny Cage and the lavish Merry-Go-Round, the perfect backdrop for photos. A Chocolate Fun launch event will start at 1:30 pm on March 28 at Shoppes Grand Canal’s St. Mark’s Square at The Venetian Macao. Sands China Ltd. and renowned chocolatier Godiva will be present to open the event, which features special celebrity appearances, including Kary Ng, Pakho Chau and Christine Kuo.
Chocolate Demonstration
Wong Yim Yin, the Regional Connoisseur Master, Pacific Rim & China of GODIVA, has amazed and impressed the region’s audiences throughout the years with his sophisticated chocolate-making skills. From March 29 to April 1 at 3 pm and 5 pm daily, Chef Wong will be in Macao performing chocolate demonstrations for shoppers and visitors at St. Mark’s Square at Shoppes Grand Canal. Don’t miss the chance to try GODIVA‘s chocolate; you might even get to be part of the demonstration!
Online Competition
Fans of the official Shoppes Facebook page can post their photos featuring any of the Chocolate Fun decorations to www.facebook.com/ShoppesInMacau. If the photo receives most ‘likes,’ the uploader might be lucky enough to win a box of sumptuous Godiva Chocolates.
Shoppes at Four Seasons
Shoppes at Four Seasons showcases a glamorous evening dress in chocolate brown sprinkled with golden decorations, giving shoppers ideas for their next addition to the spring wardrobe. And the Girls’ Best Friend artwork on display features an over two metres high jewellery box, showcasing a giant chocolate-like necklace complemented with two adorable Godiva Spring Bunnies on both sides.
Shoppes Grand Canal
A five-metre high chocolate-like Bunny Cage is going to be the centre of attention at St. Mark’s Square, Shoppes Grand Canal this Easter. Visitors can marvel at this seasonal decoration featuring four bunnies and numerous chocolate balls, probably the largest bunny cage ever built in Macao. Godiva Bunnies will also be around to add delight to the photos.
Shoppes Cotai Central
On the ground level at Shoppes Cotai Central, visitors may find themselves standing inside a giant handbag at a whopping 3.5 metres high, with a chocolate brown high heel, providing the perfect photo opportunity; and children less than three years old are welcome to sit on the Godiva Spring Bunnies and pose for their best Easter shots.
