Mr. John Westoby, Regional Managing Director of Absolute Hotel Services, is delighted to announce the appointment of Khun Surapan Somthai as General Manager of Eastin Hotel Pattaya as of March 18, 2013.
With over 28 years of knowledge and expertise in the hospitality field, Khun Surapan established his career at leading luxury hotel groups in the region such as Amari, Hilton, Golden Tulip and Le Meridien including senior managerial positions. He joined the Absolute Hotel Services team in 2009 and was appointed General Manager of the multiple award-winning U Chiang Mai followed by a stint at the 4-star Eastin Hotel Makkasan Bangkok. Prior to joining Eastin Hotel Pattaya Khun Surapan brought his considerable skills into use as pre-opening and then General Manager of the newly operational Eastin Easy GTC Hanoi in Vietnam.
