The MiniStation Slim is a portable USB3.0/2.0 HDD storage device styled with an ultra slim anodized aluminum body.

The MiniStation Slim is built with an anodized aluminum body. The anodized aluminum makes it more scratch-resistant and also provides a smooth texture that feels good in users’ hands.
Movies and TV shows, music, photos and other important documents can be easily stored and carried home, to work or while traveling with the MiniStation Slim. With a thickness of only 8.8mm and a weight of just 140 grams, the MiniStation Slim features a sleek design that slips effortlessly into backpacks, purses and even pockets. It is the ideal accessory to carry with an Ultrabook.
The MiniStation Slim’s sleek, feather-light, ultra-modern body does not, however, compromise performance. Compatible with USB3.0 high speed data transfer, the MiniStation Slim provides a maximum data transfer speed of up to 5Gbps, and is also fully backward compatible with USB2.0, able to achieve rates of up to 480 Mbps.
The MiniStation Slim is powered via normal device-computer USB cables, so there’s no need to carry around heavy power adaptors when traveling with it.
It is additionally compatible with the BuffaloTools? software suite for an enhanced user experience.
