Bangkok--4 Apr--Stuvik Racing project
A group of Thai organizations and industries joined forces with the GP2 series championship contender Racing Engineering to launch their bid to bring the Thai racer Sandy Stuvik to Formula 1. The strong drive is aimed at taking advantage of the incredible marketing opportunity that lays in having a Thai racer participating in worldwide events. The initial launch sets a target and direction for the Thai driver to reach Formula 1 within the next 3 years. The young Thai driver is currently racing in the European Formula 3 Open series and is expected to move up to the GP2 series next year, which races together with Formula 1 at selected events.
