Hotel de la Paix Cha Am will be celebrating the longstanding reputation of its beach-town location as a traditional secluded fishing haven with a month of continuous promotions celebrating the succulence of seafood with a mouth-watering menu focussing on fruits de mer.
Guests are invited to unwind and bask in the tranquillity of Cha Am, a charming seaside settlement and a living tribute to Thailand's traditional fishing village culture and a time gone by, whilst indulging in some of the finest and freshest seafood that the Kingdom has to offer.
The piece de resistance of the month will be Seafood on Ice at Motion restaurant, a tasting experience offering an opulent array of ornately presented marine morsels served over a bed of ice to lock in the freshness of the seafood selection which includes local clams, king prawns, blue swimmer crab, salmon and tuna sashimi, and New Zealand green shell mussels accompanied by French bread and enhanced by a variety of sauces and a complimentary bottle of wine.
Motion will also be combining refined British high tea traditions with the fresh bounties of the Pacific every Sunday, with decadent delicacies such as salmon-filled parmesan profiteroles, mini Black Angus burgers and fried tiger prawns.
Fishing heritage meets fashionable chic at Hotel de la Paix Cha Am, with the modern architectural masterpiece by distinguished designer Duangrit Bunnag offering guests a nostalgic location coupled with all of the luxuries of contemporary living, including 20% off selected wines throughout the month.
Embracing the seafront serenity of Hotel de la Paix and taking in the fresh air of the Gulf of Thailand, guests can enjoy preparing a beachside barbecue or pass the reins to their own private chef, allowing them to relax and unwind to the soothing sound of the waves washing inwards.
To truly get a taste of authentic coastal life in Thailand, aspiring gourmet travellers can take a guided trip with the resort's expert chefs to the intriguing and energetic morning market where they will source fresh produce and the day's fish catches before returning to Hotel de la Paix for an informative and fun interactive cooking class.
For even more intrepid and adventurous epicureans, Hotel de la Paix is offering guided boat tours out into the shimmering waters of the Gulf of Thailand for an unforgettable fishing trip before returning to shore and enjoying the fruits of their labour in secluded peacefulness as the sun sets over the sea.
