ASIATIQUE THE RIVERFRONT, the first and largest lifestyle project in Asia on the banks of the Chao Phraya River and Bangkok’s latest landmark, is poised to celebrate its 1st anniversary with the organizing of the “ASIATIQUE Songkran Carnival 2013” during April 13-15, 2 pm — midnight. In an atmosphere of a temple fair, created for the first time on the bend of the Chao Phraya River, visitors can water Buddha relics and the Golden Buddha of Traimit Temple to preserve Thai traditions. For contemporary fun and to ease the heat, they can revel at a foam party at the pool bar, which will be joined by two hot celebrities: Peter Corp Dyrendal and Kratae Supaksorn. The nights will be wrapped up by concerts by Thai superstars J Jetrin, Christina Aguilar, and Chin Chinnawut. Also, visitors can marvel at spectacular firework shows organized as grand celebrations of ASIATIQUE’s 1st anniversary. How to Get There: ASIATIQUE THE RIVERFRONT is located opposite Soi Charoenkrung 93. It can be accessed both by car and boat. ASIATIQUE shuttle boats are available for free every day from 4 pm to 11:30 pm from the Sathorn Pier under the BTS Saphan Taksin Station.
