It’s with our pleasure to welcome Khun Stephane Duchenne as General Manager to our warm family at InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort.
Khun Stephane is a highly motivated hospitality leader with more than 10 years of International hospitality experience, having spent most of his time with InterContinental hotels across the Middle East and Asia. More recently, Stephane was the Resort Manager for InterContinental Bali resort and led the resort during the General Manager interim. He has been in this role since March 2011 where he oversees all aspects of the resort operations.
After obtaining his MBA from the prestigious Cornell / Essec University, Stephane started his career in Food & beverage. His career moves have always been carefully directed, having achieved a complete and diverse mix of assignments including pre-opening, rebranding and project management.
Khun Stephane describes his leadership style to be action-oriented, accessible and he believes in leading by example. He also believes in open communication and developing healthy relationships as a mean to drive results. He is highly adaptable to various environments and seeks to understand diverse cultures and behaviors.
