Monumental 3 Michelin star chef Alain Passard returns to The Sukhothai Bangkok with degustation dishes from his marvelous innovations in French cuisine. In all the years of his expertise, the uniquely delicious characteristics he now reveals are the best yet.
Brittany-born Alain Passard was inspired by his grandmother’s cooking at an early age and began his career at Le Lion d’Or of Liffr? under Michel K?r?ver. When only 26 years old, Alain Passard obtained two Michelin Stars at Le Duc d’Enghien in the Enghien Casino and went on to receive two Michelin Stars for the second time at Carlton of Brussels in 1984.
In 1986, Alain Passard opened his own restaurant, Arp?ge, formerly L’Archestrate which belonged to his mentor, Alain Senderens. It earned one star in the Michelin Guide in its first year, and earned two soon thereafter. It earned three Michelin Stars in 1996, which it has maintained since.
