David Baldwin, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, led the hotel’s management, staff, along with a one year-old “Tree Elf” in celebration of Planet 21 Day on April 21. Planet 21 is Accor Hotel’s environmental sustainability initiative, launched worldwide one year ago.
Accor hotels throughout Thailand supported Planet 21 Day with their unique “Hug A Tree” campaign, where guests are invited to receive a hug from our family of trees in exchange for a small donation. Hug A Tree efforts at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square alone brought in more than 21,000 Thai Baht, which will go toward reforestation efforts in Northern Thailand.
