TNT Express Worldwide (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the leading international provider of integrated express services and a Netherlands-based express delivery company, sponsored “Netherlands Queen's Day, Abdication and Inauguration of a New King” which took place in Amsterdam and coincided with the celebration of Netherlands National Day at the Netherlands Embassy, Bangkok.
After a reign of 33 years, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix has handed the throne to her eldest son, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Willem Alexander.
Commenting on the event, Alan Miu, Managing Director, TNT Express Worldwide (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said, “TNT Thailand was proud to be part of these landmark events, and made the annual celebration this year even more special for the diplomatic community and Dutch citizens in Thailand. More than 1,000 people took part in the event, including Thai guests and colleagues from the Diplomatic Corps as well as TNT staff and customers, followed by the Dutch community working and living in Thailand who celebrated the strong relationship between Dutch and Thai people.”
This celebration was hosted at the beautiful Netherlands Embassy garden. To mark this special occasion, food from Netherlands was provided, and guests followed a live broadcast of the inauguration ceremony of the new King on a large video screen at the Embassy.
