HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously grants an audience to Professor Dr. Pairach Thajchayapong, Vice President of the Information Technology Project under the Initiatives of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (far left) and Seagate Technology PCL. executives led by Mr. Dave Mosley, Executive Vice President of Operations (2nd from left) and Seagate Thailand executives including Mr. Jeffrey Nygaard, Vice President and Country Manager, Thailand and Penang Operations (3rd from left), Mrs. Piangruetai Sivaratana, Vice President of Korat Operation (3rd from right) and Ms. Sirirat Euaypadung, Vice President of Teparuk Operation (2nd from right) to present the donation of 350 units of Seagate external hard disk drives with 2TB of storage capacity each.
The donation is part of Seagate’s CSR support for the Information Technology Project under the Initiatives of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) for the “eDLTV/eDLRU Enhancing Learning Opportunities” Project. These hard disk drives will be presented to 35 Rajabhat universities which take part in the network of the IT Project under the Initiative of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn” and will be used for storing the eDLTV/eDLRU systems. Through the academic services and teachers training programs carried out by Rajabhat Universities, these e-learning systems will benefit various schools and schoolchildren across the country.
