Promenada Resort Mall Chiang Mai, the first resort-style shopping mall in Thailand, recently marked the opening of its first phase with three days of celebrations, special offers, musical performances, dance and fashion shows. The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Joan de Boer, Ambassador of the Kingdom of The Netherlands, who presented a Champaign toast at the “Discover Promenada” Opening Ceremony. The opening weekend was the first opportunity for the people of Chiang Mai to explore the new mall and its beautifully sculpted outdoor areas.
From Friday to Sunday, Promenada’s opening featured some of Thailand’s most famous celebrities and artists, headlined by a special mini concert by J-Jetrin. The weekend also featured promotions from Uniqlo, SF Cinema City, Sports World and more, and Uniqlo’s brand ambassadors, Yaya and Dome completed a “meet & greet” with lucky guests. Visitors to the opening included tenants, media, VIPs and a large number of shoppers from Chiang Mai and nearby cities, who enjoyed experiencing Promenada’s “More than just shopping“ concept.
