“S&P” celebrates its 40th anniversary By continuing “S&P Kitchen for Kids — Year 5” To deliver good and healthy kitchen for schools in remote area

Bangkok--13 Jun--polyplus pr S&P celebrates its 40th anniversary by rewarding the society continuously with the project “S&P Kitchen for Kids — Year 5” to improve the health of kids in remote area by improving and developing the quality of the kitchen for schools in remote area. This year, the project has completed 2 kitchens in the northeastern area including Songkroh Nangrong School - Buriram, and Ratprachanukroh 32 School — Ubonratchathani. Moreover, the company also support sustainable agriculture by donating hydroponic vegetable plant and mushroom plant to the students to be used as materials for lunch and also as the educational tools. Maneesuda Sila-On, Public and Customer Relations Manager of S&P Syndicate Public Company Limited led the executives and staffs to join the activity on Wednesday June 5th, 2013 together with celebrities with good hearts such as Preyamon Thanavisuth, Kornkanok Yongsakul, Pornpen Sinlapasamai, Assoc. Prof. Chalermpol Leevairoj, Kullachat Charnsethikul also joining the activity tirelessly. Maneesuda Sila-On revealed that “S&P Syndicate Public Company Limited is specialized in food and nutrition. Therefore, we are committed to transferring our expertise to the kids through “S&P Kitchen for Kids” which has been organized for 5 consecutive years covering 13 schools. We improve and develop the school and kitchen to make them healthy such as installing the ventilation fans, installing window nets, educate related school staffs about healthy food and nutrition so that the schools can take care of themselves and also provide knowledge to the students so that they can apply it to their houses resulting in good health”. Meanwhile, Kornkanok Yongsakul stated that “I am very happy to join this great activity as I do not have many chances to do it in Bangkok. Today I helped painting the wall, cook, and eat with the kids. I always enjoy making merit and do good deeds especially in group as it hass bigger impact than doing it alone. I will definitely join the next activity”. Preyamon Thanavisuth mentioned that “Personally, I like social works and, in several occasions, I traveled to the upcountry. Even though it is hot and tired, but I always feel happy to be able to help my friends to share happiness to the kids in remote area”. Pornpen Sinlapasamai shared that “I have been in restaurant business for more than 20 years but have never joined such activity; I normally go to temples to make merit. This is the first time for me to join the activity in upcountry school. I am very impressed and happy to see smiles from the kids’ faces giving me the idea of developing more school kitchen in the remote area”. S&P not only improve and develop school kitchen, it also provide education opportunities for kids after finishing Grade 9 to continue their education of Vocational Certificate at S&P Education Center where they can study while earning money.
