The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) or TCEB underscores the importance of preparing the Thai MICE industry in both its offensive and defensive approaches to enter the regional integration under ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015 by organizing the training course, ASEAN MICE Operations: “Now For The Next Investment Excellence”.
Focusing on furthering the potential of Thai MICE operators and unveiling TCEB's aggressive strategies towards tapping MICE markets in four main trading partners including Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos, the training will be held on June 13 and 14, 2013 at 08.30am to 5.30pm at Star Room, 29th floor, Plaza Athenee Royal Meridien Hotel, (Witthayu Road, Ploenchit).
TCEB would like to invite MICE operators, businessmen and media representative and businessmen to attend the opening of the training course, ASEAN MICE Operations: “Now For The Next Investment Excellence” or "The Capacity Building of Thai MICE operators to ASEAN".
Dr Surin Pitsuwan, Chairman of the Future Innovative Thailand Institute and a former Secretary-General of ASEAN Secretariat will deliver a keynote speech on "Opportunities of Thai MICE Industry in ASEAN", which is a topic closely monitored in the industry and the economy. Other notable speakers joining the opening are Mr. Arif Suyoko, Minister Counselor (Economy) of Indonesian Embassy to Thailand, Dr Atchaka Sriboonrueng, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Industry Ministry and Mrs. Ladda Mongkolchaivivat, General Manager of VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific. The media is invited to have a special interview with Mr. Nopparat Maythaveekulchai, TCEB's President, about the Bureau's plan to prepare Thailand's MICE operators under its assertive approach in preparing them to enter an anticipated regional integration under the ASEAN Economic Community.
