The SEC has won an “Outstanding Booth” award for the category “less than 100 square meters” at Money Expo Bangkok 2013 hosted by Money& Banking Magazine.
SEC Secretary-General Vorapol Socatiyanurak received the “Outstanding Booth” award from General Surayud Chulanont, Privy Councillor, at “Money & Banking Awards 2013” on June 14, 2013. The award is in recognition of the SEC booth presented underthe theme “SEC Open house” at Money Expo Bangkok 2013.
Scored by a committee of diverse experts, consisting of national artists, as well as experts in architecture, arts and painting the award is judged under four criteria, including: concept and creativity, design and arts, utility, and presentation.
“The booth presentation aims to emphasize the SEC’s role in investor protection and financial literacy. The SEC Open House was not only attractive and stylish but comfortable enough for all visitors to make themselves at home. We obtained a very warm welcome from investors and the general public and hope that this event would help raise public awareness in the financial literacy,” said Vorapol.
