AirAsia INSURE, AirAsia’s travel insurance service provided by Krungthai Panich Insurance (KPI) rolls out two promotions for June. Travelers who purchase an insurance plan immediately receive a free beverage onboard worth 60 THB (for round-trip insurance coverage plans only). Travelers may also benefit from a new damage claim plan for lost or damaged belongings offering up to 15,000 THB of assurance with the first portion of damage costs waived, starting at only 94.20 THB (available for both one way and return plans).
Mr. Natthawach Siriwongsal, Thai AirAsia’s Head of Ancillary, remarked that AirAsia INSURE’s assurance services have been very well received by its passengers, offering of peace of mind to travelers both departing and arriving at the low starting price of 94.20 THB. In June, the service is offering 2 special promotions so all can travel assured.
Mr. Supachai Piakaew, President of Krungthai Panich Insurance, said that KPI, as the provider of insurance to AirAsia INSURE, is constantly ready to offer new types of coverage to meet the needs of AirAsia’s customers. KPI is intent on providing assurance to travelers both departing and arriving against all unexpected occurrences so that they may feel confident throughout their trip.
Promotion 1 allows passengers using AirAsia INSURE services (return plans only) traveling on FD flights between today and 31 August, 2013 to receive a free drink worth 60 THB when they present a copy of their AirAsia INSURE policy to one of the cabin crew.
Promotion 2 offers a new damage claim plan for personal belongings to travelers departing between today and 31 August, 2013. The promotion offers maximum coverage up to 15,000 THB (3,000 THB maximum coverage per item/pair/article) with the first portion of the damage cost waived.
Travelers simply have to present their receipt with a catalog of the damaged items to activate their coverage. Even without a receipt, insured travelers can receive up to 1,000 THB in reimbursement. The promotion applies to all AirAsia INSURE plans, which start at only 94.20 THB.
