As a goodwill gesture, and in light of the cordial relationship between the Chinese government and Siam Commercial Bank, Mr. Manop Sangiambut, Executive Vice President and Head of International Banking Business, recently donated RMB 2 million to Mr. Wang Xian, Vice President of the Sichuan Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. The money will be used to support victims of the powerful earthquake that shook the province last April. LTJG Komate Kamalanavin, Consul General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Chengdu, Sichuan witnessed the presentation.
