Photo Release: THAI Holds “THAI Spreads Love Along Southern Border” Activity

Bangkok--12 Jul--Thai Airways Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) organized the “2nd THAI Spreads Love Along Southern Border” event as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Volunteers boarded the Royal Thai Air Force C-130 aircraft bound for the Royal Thai Marine Corp, Chulabhorn Camp, at Narathiwat province in southern Thailand, to donate money and school supplies to locals affected by the border violence. Pol. Gen. Wichean Potephosree (left), Permanent Secretary of Transport, Member of THAI Board of Directors, and Chairman of THAI Board of CSR, led a team of volunteers along with Mr. Apiporn Pasawat (fifth from left), Former Member of THAI Board of Directors, Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan (second from left), THAI President, Flt. Lt. Montree Jumrieng (sixth from left), THAI Executive Vice President of Technical Department, Lt. Athisak Padchuenjai (seventh from left), THAI Executive Vice President of Operations Department, Mr. Donald Frueh (fourth from left), Sales Director, Asia Pacific & India Sales Commercial Airplanes of Boeing, and actress Miss Kemanij “Pancake” Jamikorn (third from left). Members of THAI Management and other volunteer staff travelled to the Royal Thai Marine Corp, to donate money collected from staff donation for the reconstruction of Mosque Tadeeka at Bacho, as well as donating toothbrush, toothpaste, skincare and other daily products donated by THAI staff to soldiers, teachers and students. Boeing Company also donated 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to students living in Narathiwat.
