KASIKORNBANK introduces a 10-month fixed-term deposit offering 2.9 percent of deposit rate and a “14-month Flexible Fixed Deposit 3.20%” for both the high- and medium-income segments. The deposit products provide alternative savings channels for those who wish to gain attractive returns, available until August 5.
Ms. Noppawan Jermhansa, KASIKORNBANK First Senior Vice President, said the Monetary Policy Committee on July 10 maintained its policy rate unchanged at 2.5 percent, representing its stance towards ease monetary policy. However, if the world economic growth is below expectations, Thai economic conditions might be impacted and consequently the MPC may have to cut their policy rate again.
KBank, thus, introduces a 10-month fixed-term deposit and a 14-month Flexible Fixed Deposit 3.20% in response to customers’ needs and add alternative savings channels for those who wish to gain attractive returns.
Special 10-month Fixed-term deposit: Minimum deposit is 10,000 Baht. Customers will be offered 2.80 percent of returns for deposits of 10,000 — 9,999,999 Baht and 2.90 percent for deposits of 10 million Baht or more, payable every three months and at the end of the 10-month deposit term.
14-month Flexible Fixed Deposit 3.20%: Minimum deposit is 10,000 Baht. For depositors’ convenience, interest is payable every three months and at the end of the 14-month deposit term. For deposits of less than three months, customers will receive the savings interest rate, while those deposit three to less than six months will get the three-month fixed deposit rate. For deposits of six months to less than 14 months, the six-month fixed deposit rate will be offered.
