Volvo Group (Thailand) Company Limited, the sole distributor of Volvo Trucks and UD Trucks, appoints Mr. Ekanat Suwintawong as the company’s Vice President for Marketing, handling marketing, sales and public relations.
Mr. Ekanat graduated bachelor degree and master degree in Engineering Science (Mechanic and Engineering Management) from Cornel University of the United States. He also graduated Master Degree in MBA from Sasin Institute of the University of Chula Longkorn.
Since his graduation, he started his first career in the Board of Investment as an investment promotion officer. He joined with SC Asset Company Limited as Specialist in Business Development Department and later he worked for Ford Sales and Service (Thailand) Company Limited as Specialist for Dealer Development. He moved to Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Company Limited as General Manager for Product Planning and Strategy of the Marketing Department.
Mr. Ekanat made a comeback to Ford Sales and Service (Thailand) Company Limited as Product Manager of the Marketing Department. He then gradually and continuously promoted and the latest management career in Ford was Vice President for Marketing.
Before joining with Volvo Group (Thailand) Company Limited, Mr. Ekanat worked for Baan Rai Sugar Industry Company Limited as Executive Advisor.
Now, he is married and has a couple of son and daughter.
