Intergraph? has expanded the Global Professional Services Consultancy and Delivery Organization in Southeast Asia with new, experienced leadership, providing consistent and predictable delivery results for projects throughout the region. By establishing best practices and processes into a single methodology, Intergraph’s improved Global Professional Services Methodology (GPSM) will provide a structured approach for standard reporting and enhanced project execution across multiple countries in the region and around the world.

Intergraph solutions are endorsed and used by world’s industry leaders.
Another one strategy in this year’s “Intergraph? PP&M Southeast Asia 2013” is to let Engineering experts convene at the industry-leading conference to discuss “safety, quality, interoperability and productivity”. This event was co-hosted by Intergraph’s Process, Power & Marine (PP&M) division and Neon Infotech South East Asia Co., Ltd. “Nowadays, engineering software is becoming significantly important in continuous process industries, due to fact that the engineering design, construction and operating process conditions must be complied according to the global engineering standards as well as health, safety and environmental requirements” said Harsh V. Sethi, Chief Executive Officer, Neon Infotech South East Asia Co., Ltd.
Apart from this, Thailand still needs more numbers of local human resources who have expertise in the engineering design software. Due to this shortage of skilled resources in Thailand, for most of the projects here, engineering design is still done by overseas companies/contractors, thus resulting in loss of revenue, had this been done locally.
“So in line with the ASEAN Economic Community policy framework that will be effective in the near future, we realize that the development of skills and experts in this field will be highly significant in achieving our long term economic growth.” Sethi said. And therefore we wish to bridge the gap between the academia and the industry thru our conference and offer the educational institutions free use of our software solutions in their curriculum.
