ELS International Pathways(R) now Extend to Europe
ELS EDUCATIONAL SERVICES OPENS FIRST EUROPEAN CENTER at the SKEMA CAMPUS IN NICE, FRANCECONTINUES TO SUPPORT THAIS STUDYING ABROAD
In a rapidly globalizing world, the ability to communicate effectively in English increases both academic and career opportunities for non-native English speaking students. This fundamental reality is at the core of the curriculum offered by the SKEMA Business school (School of Knowledge Economy and Management). It is among France’s premier institutions for the study of business and economics offering 21 Bachelor’s and 15 Master of Science degree programs taught entirely in English.
ELS Educational Services, a leading provider of English language instruction and academic success skills for international students, today opened its first European center on the SKEMA campus in Sophia Antipolis near Nice. ELS Language Centers on university campuses in the United States, Canada, Australia, China and Malaysia provide rigorous English preparation for non-native speakers - preparing to study abroad. Students entering the new center at SKEMA will experience ELS’ unique English for Academic Purposes program. The course of study is specifically designed to provide an intensive English language training experience, but also foster enhanced academic skills students will need to succeed in a program as demanding as SKEMA’s. Classes focus on communication competency, vocabulary enrichment and reading and writing skills.
